Dear Bob, I just Come [sic] Down [sic], N.J. went to the show & Mom is in K.C. We had some trouble getting the stove for the out door oven, So [sic] she that she could find what we need down there, Jake is going to build it if we canget [sic] what it takes, we rec [sic] your letter of the 31st Monday, also heard from Kenney the same day, his letter was dated the 29th, I think by the time you get this thing will look a lot better. The News from these sounded good to nite [sic]. We have never heard from

your locker, & hope you will be able to put a total value on it, would like to hear from you be-for [sic] we settle with the Chis Co., the weather of Very Nice here now & looks very good for another wheat crop we are busy & have been having some real good Saturday’s, Sevede is still Boss, Our New Legion Home is looking very favorable
No news we are are [sic] O.K. & hope to hear from you be-fore [sic] long, Let us Know what you need, we haven’t heard from the Kido’ for several day’s, were let you know when we do, So Long Dad.
