Dear Dad:
Well today is Sunday, and I don’t have anything to do, so I will drop you a few lines. I got a letter from Mom, she got there ok. but had to stay overnight before she got there. There isn’t much to write about as eveything here is the same, I go on Bivouac Tuesday it last’s for 16 days and when it’s over so is our Basic. I guess Ernie & I didn’t do so hot on the parlay we picked, we just guessed what the spot would be and picked a few teams we thought were fairly good, but they didn’t do so good, well I I suppose you got my letter about the money I will need if I get a furlough. You can do as you like, as you know more about it than I do. over
Well I must close for now & write mom & the rest a few lines, so be careful & don’t loose too much on the parlay cards. If you want any advise about any teams drop
me a line & Ernie & I will figure it out for you.
