Dear Folk’s:
Well I promised to drop you a few lines in my last letter but honestly I didn’t just forget, I haven’t had any time to myself, except to eat and sleep but am getting a little better settled now and will be able to do the writing I want to do,
I am still in QM very much to my dis-approval but there isn’t anything that I can do about it as they won’t give me a transfer, so it looks as though I will just have to make the best of it.
One of the boys in my tent is going home tomorrow to be discharged from the Army and it really,

makes me feel bad in a way to see him go- not that I don’t want him to get out of all this mess, I just makes [sic] me think of how happy I would be to take his place, and I do hope that day is not too far away.
I do hope that Bob, is getting along OK, and is soon back home with all of you, as I know it is just what he needs, to get him back on his feet again.
Well I am sorry I cannot find any more to write about today for some reason, I think you know how I feel, until tomorrow I must say goodnight.
So Long for Now
Love Kenney
