To: Folks and Sis 1945_1_20 From: Kenny [2 page letter] Date: 1-20-1945 New Guinea Jan. 20, 1945 Dear Folk’s & Sis: Another day so I thought I would drop you a few more lines, to let you know that I am feeling just fine and getting along OK. hope this short note finds all of you the same. I received another package today and everything arrived in very fine condition, it was marked in Oct. but as yet I haven’t seen a thing of the one that contains my bracelette [sic] I really do hope it gets here soon, as I can hardly wait to get it on my wrist, and I do hope it gets here soon. I hope that Norma is feeling OK, and isn’t working too much yet, tell her to take it easy, and not work work too hard, because she might get sick again, and I don’t want that too [sic] happen. 2 Is Larry Roy still with you, I do hope he is as I know you do get such great enjoyment and most of all company from him, I only hope Larry doesn’t have to come over here, and he may not have too if we keep on pushing, let’s hope it is all over soon. Well I suppose Bob has been telling you all about his life and how he likes it so far away from home and I do hope he is getting along OK with his men, I know he will he OK so that [sic] makes two of us, so please don’t worry. Well I will again say so long for now, please give my regards to all. Love Kenny
