Dear Folk’s:
I want to inform you of the mail I received today, only nineteen letters and boy what I mean I was really happy I want to thank you from the bottom of my small heart, for writing, you can’t imagine how happy I am, also some snapshots in fact forty eight in all and they are my most choice possession, in fact I have them in a book and they will always be, the most valuable thing I have ever owned, thank’s [sic] again and if I may ask you to send me some more anytime you wish I will gladly and appreciate them, The [sic] news from this land is about the same and the wheather [sic] also, and that’s about all there is too it, it is really very different for me to find something to write, about as I have told you before but I do want you to hear from me as often as possible, so I will try to scribble you a few lines now and then it sounds as though you are tearing the house apart, and I know it will be very nice when you have finished, you mentioned something about a fence, well maybe I will be home, and we can decide about it then also about the paint job, I met Joy Wisdomes [sic] brother in law today, you remember he married Ben Rein’s girl, his name is sorry I forget but he married Joy’s sister, well I will say so long
[character] Jap. [character]
for now. [sic] and keep on writing. Love
Kenney
