Dear Folk’s & Sis:
Just enough time for me to drop you a very [sic] few lines. I am feeling OK and hope this finds you the same. I finally rec. [received ?] those pictures from you, the ones of [Rudy] he is really a sweet boy, all the fellows had a fit over him and they can’t figure out how he could [sic] any relative of mine, well anyhow he is, and I am very proud of the fact that I am his Uncle, about the watch I haven’t heard a word but hope to soon, I am still in a combat Area [sic] so don’t worry if you don’t hear from me as often as you have, please keep the mail coming though and I will do my best.
