To: Folks 1944_5_14 From: Kenney [1 page letter] Date: 5-14-1944 5-14-44 Dear Folk’s: Here goes for a few short lines, just to let you know I am still getting along just fine, and I am feeling ok hoping this finds all of you the same. I would give anything if I could hear from you but the mail is really slow. I hope you have been getting my mail ok. I have written quite a few letters but there isn’t really a lot of news here so it makes it rather difficult to write very often, but I will keep in touch with you whenever possible. Did Bob ever get his furlough, I hope he did if I were back in the states now I would have a furlough coming to me in June but I don’t think I will make it. Whenever I get to the states I will have one coming, so drop me a line & I will try to do the same Love KENNEY
