To: Folks 1944_4_24 From: Kenney [1 page letter] Date: 4-24-1944 4-24-44 Dear Folk’s: I didn’t get a chance to write to you yesterday, as I was working and I didn’t have time, well there isn’t any news at least none that I know of, it is still plenty hot here, and it still rains all the time they have two seasons here one wet and one dry and it is now the dry season and it rains every day so you can imagine how it must be during the rainy season here, I hope I get some mail soon, they promised it would be here and still no mail but I hope it gets here soon. I might say that the recreation here isn’t very much as you can imagine we are suppose [sic] to have a picture show set up soon and then it won’t be so bad. Well I hope this finds you all well & happy. Love KENNEY
