To: Forks 1944_4_18 From: Kenney [1 page letter] Date: 4-18-1944 4-18-44 Dear Folk’s: I have a few spare moments so I will drop you a few more lines to tell you a few things I have seen as you know I crossed the Pacific Oc [Ocean] and it is really big, we saw whales, sharks, and a little bit of everything, but we had a lot of fun. I am feeling fine and am getting along just fine. It really is hot over here, I really have a big time trying to buy coconuts from these natives as we use English money and I don’t know it very well as yet, but I am learning fast, well I will close for now and write soon, tell all hello for me.
