Dear folk’s:
Well I am still here at Barkeley, but not for long, we were told this morning that we are probably out the 18th at noon, so as soon as I get located I will write or call or wire – but I will let you know as soon as I get there. You can’t ever tell I may be sent closer to home or maybee [sic] farther away but that is still to be found out there isn’t much to say except I am feeling fine and I am
over
very happy about leaving Barkeley. I weighed 180# and I still don’t believe it. I haven’t done any shopping as yet but I still have hopes of doing some, well I will close for now & don’t worry, I will let you know as soon as possible.
Love
Kenney
Mom:
Please thank Ethel for the candy she sent me, I will write to here soon as I get set.
