Dear Folk’s:
Hello, I got your box last night, and I went over & got Bob, he took half & I kept half. Boy those cookies were really delicious & the pears & everything wer else was really swell, thank’s mom. A package frome home is the next best thing in the Army besides a furlough so don’t hesitate if you want to send something just wrap it up & I will gladly take care of it. There isn’t much to say, except

They have really kept us busy the last week and next will be a little tougher, but there are only 9 week’s left so it can’t last forever, and when Basic if over I may have something to look forward too except work & work, I might even get a day off once in awhile. Don’t forget to try to find Odom, this may be a possible chance for me to be sent to Walker & then I could come home every night, well it is about chow time so I really must go,
