Dear Mom & All, We just Came from Supper & Will Write a line or
Two, No Mail to-day [sic] from any one [sic], this is the 1st good day we’ve had, & the roads are still awfully [sic] bad, N.J. likes her Work, I call [sic] her at 7:30, she Come’s [sic] home at noon eats her lunch & brings mine down, last nite [sic] we went to the Hospital , Sharon is better but she & Ethel will be there a few days yet, Bobby J is Coming home in about a week, He wants Combat & will go over befor [sic] long, Tobe Miller was found dead in bed, Our New girl down stairs [sic] is Working at Penny’s & I guess that’s about all the News, Punkie would really like it here Now, The Sun is really Warm, did his laundry & Candy get there o.k.? Will let you Know as Soon as we hear from either the boy’s [sic], We are both ok. And are Caught up on sleep, Love to all
