The Dole Institute of Politics is proud to present a series of projects focusing on the people, places, and enduring legacies of the 1976 presidential election, featuring materials from the Dole Archives, the Dole Institute programming archive, and other historical collections.
Funded by the Enid and Crosby Kemper Foundation
Drawing from the historic collections at the Dole Archives, we are pleased to present a selection of materials from the 1976 Ford-Dole campaign. The majority of these document Dole's extremely active travel schedule from late August through Election Day, 1976.
Other materials of interest may include a collection of nearly 400 digitized press clippings from 1976.
In addition, we have a number of resources available for use in our reading room. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
