I just got off guard so I thought I would drop you a few lines & let you know how I am coming along, I haven’t heard from you since Sunday, I suppose you are busy getting back to normal after Lary [sic] & Sis were there, I am still wondering about my watch as I have not yet received it, [scratch out] it must have been lost somewhere or I would have rec. it by now, but I still have hopes that it will be here soon, I have really been busy this last week,

they shipped a big bunch out of here & there is a lot of work to be done, I was on fire guard for 48 hrs. & K.P. one day & yesterday & last night guard duty so you can see why I haven’t written any sooner will this isn’t anything new around here, so there isn’t a lot to write about, if I ever get my watch you will probably know about it as I will yell my head off so you can hear me -- Well I will close for now & get some sleep. Tell everyone hello for me & write soon.
