Dear Folk’s
& Sis:
Have time again to say a few more lines, and let you know that I am feeling just fine and getting along OK, hoping this finds all of you the same, and the rest of the family.
Had a day off today the first for quite sometime, things are getting rather dead around here now and I am still trying my best to get shipped North but it looks as though I am going to be stuck here for the duration which I hope isn’t too far away and the sooner I get home the better

I hope you have been hearing from Bob regularly as I know how you must wory [sic] about him so much, but please don’t worry so much, and don’t always think of the worst things that the Army has to offer, try to think of something else that we might have, such as food, entertainment, sleeping quarter [sic] our john and such things as these, and I know we both will feel a lot better, to know you are not worrying about us so much- and I am sure we will both come back home again and not too long from now, so long for now. Goodnight
