To: Folks & Sis 1944_11_10 From: Kenney [2 page letter] Date: 11-10-1944 Nov. 10-44 Dear Folk’s & Sis: Just very few short lines to let you know that I am OK, and getting along just fine, hoping that this finds all of you the same. I received a letter from you today and was very glad to know that Norma, is feeling better now, I hope that she will be up and around by the time this reaches you. Well the wheather [sic] here is about the same, and news is something I am unable to pass on to you, however you will hear or read about it in the papers. Page 2 It won’t be very long now and Bob should, be coming home again, to see you, and with his commission I bet he will really look sharp in his uniform, so when he gets home don’t forget to send me his picture, by the way I am sending a few I have here with me also, All the boys here on these are on their way home now, they promised to write to you, so please, send I me there addresses in case they do. I have my watch back now and I really do like it fine, thank’s [sic] again for all the trouble you had with it. Hope you have an enjoyable Thanksgiving.
