Bob has really been getting a work out this week so if you don’t hear from soon don’t worry as he is just too busy to write, The cake is really delicious, but the camera doesn’t work, the spring is missing that makes it click. 3 makes it click, I think I can get it fixed in town if I get to go, We will try to call again Sunday if everything goes ok. So stick around we will call before noon about 9:00 or 9:30, well I got a letter from Harold tonight. I will he is getting along ok. And sends his best regards to all. Tell Della & Bert to drop me a line as I would like to hear from them I really don’t have any time to write. Well it is time for light’s out as I will sign off for now, wkeep on writing and I will do my best to answer. “over” 4 Mom why don’t you send me a snapshot of you & dad together as the one I have isn’t very good and I would really enjou [sic] having one in my bilfould [sic]. I could use about $3.00 so have dad write a check. Please take enough of my money to pay Dawson’s, I think it is about $4.00, & tell Ernie & Dutch hello for me. Love, Pvt. Kenney Dole
